WVATA Annual Meeting Student Oral
Presentation |
|
November 1, 2006
Curriculum Directors and Head Athletic Trainers:
I hope this letter finds you enjoying a successful and enjoyable
semester. It is time to start preparing for the annual STUDENT
ORAL PRESENTATIONS at the WVATA annual meeting. This year’s
conference will be February 23-24, 2007.
Last years presentations were truly excellent. This contest
provides students with the opportunity to present his/her original
ideas and objective findings before fellow students and certified
athletic trainers, physical therapist and physicians, etc of WV.
This Free Communication experience is an invaluable experience. It
can serve as preparation for curricular research defense and may
give students and incentive to participate in the NATA research
and education foundation free communication contests at the NATA
annual convention.
I am really excited about the opportunity that will be presented
for students again this year. Applications do not need to be
blind, but students still need to send in an abstract. This year
all students who apply for the SOP will be allowed to present at
this year’s conference. Submissions must be RECIEVED no later than
December 10, 2006 to be able to present this year. Awards will be
solely judged on their presentation that day. I hope that this
gives the students in the state more opportunity to speak in this
environment.
I hope that you are as excited as I am about this opportunity for
our students.
***All Student Oral Presentation abstracts must be received by
December 10, 2006.***
